Cosby Volunteer Board Members
The Volunteer board is very important to the long-term future for YMCA Camp Cosby. This advisory volunteer team makes up a group of 22-26 highly engaged individuals that bring a level of expertise to help guide and support Cosby year round.
We are blessed to have this group who provide their, personal and business perspective, time, talent and treasures to help Cosby thrive.
We ask our board members to:
- Be a strong advocate for Camp Cosby in the community
- Contribute to the camp’s annual campaign that sends children to camp each summer of $1000 or more.
- Be a key campaigner to help raise donations that support the annual campaign for Camp Cosby
- Attend monthly meetings at the Mountain Brook YMCA Branch
- Actively recruit other board members for the Camp Board
- Assist in committee work, work days, events and other needs at Camp during the year
- Term commitment – 3-5 years
